About Course
Course Description
This course will show students the wider context of human diversity and the associated complexities. Students will explore the relationship between understanding diversity and contributing to the development of healthy people and communities through human services careers.
They will examine their own characteristics and conditions with themselves as a focal point to relate to concepts of diversity and privilege.
Students will describe elements of inclusive communities and develop skills to interact with others with dignity, respect and sensitivity, building on their attributes of human services.
